Gospel Initiative (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information Karar 3.0 collects and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

• Name, email, and phone number when you register, vote, volunteer, or check in via IWasHere.
• Google account name, email, and profile photo when you sign in with Google.
• Audition video and photo uploads submitted during registration.
• Payment confirmation details from Paystack (we never see or store your card details).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process registration, voting, and volunteer applications.
• To send transactional emails — registration confirmation, audition decisions, vote confirmations, and event updates.
• To display public contestant profiles and the live leaderboard (stage name, state, category, vote count, photo).
• To generate aggregate, anonymized attendance counts on event day.

3. Third-Party Services

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, Cloudinary for media storage, Paystack for payment processing, and an SMTP email provider for transactional email. Each provider processes data only as needed to provide their service to Karar 3.0.

4. Data Retention

We retain registration, voting, and attendance records for as long as needed to administer the competition and for reasonable record-keeping afterward. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting idemita07@gmail.com.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing idemita07@gmail.com.
